Installing a fuel injected engine into an older car is a popular conversion. However, when it comes time to service your new engine, you may find yourself unsure or confused as to what spark plugs to use, what oil filter you need, or how to route the belt. These engine service decals indicate the factory specifications for the specific engine you just installed. They also add a finishing touch to your engine compartment, making it seem like your vehicle came from the factory with your newly installed engine. They each list the following information:
- Engine year
- Engine type
- Spark plug gap and part number
- Factory belt part number
- Refrigerant type
- Manufacturer's recommended oil weight and capacity
- Oil filter part number
- Spark advance base timing (onn models with adjustable timing)
- Factory Belt Routing Diagram
These are quality, durable decals designed to survive in the harsh underhood environment. They are waterproof, heat resistant and are tear resistant. Each decal is 4" wide, and 2 1/2" tall. Decals are warrantied for 90 days against fading. We recommend installing them on a clean, flat metal or plastic surface.
Note: Each decal is intended for a specific engine application in stock form. Custom or modified engines may render decal information inaccurate. Please make sure you order the appropriate decal for your engine based on year, original vehicle, and engine type or displacement. Photo shows a sample decal, the actual decal you will receive will vary depending on the application.
